Palantir loses $875M contract, raising questions about sky-high stock valuation

Palantir Technologies has lost an approximately $875 million contract for the DCGS-A Increment 1 program designed to boost tactical intelligence capabilities for the US Army, sparking investor concerns. The company has also seen France shift part of its intelligence contracts toward local competitor ChapsVision. Despite these setbacks, Palantir’s remaining deal value stood at $13.1 billion as of Q2 2026, representing an 83% year-over-year increase, with revenue growth exceeding 70%. The stock hit new lows in June 2026 as the market questions whether the company can sustain its growth trajectory.
