Strive raises funds for 104 Bitcoin purchases over 9 days using preferred stock program

Share

Strive, Inc. has raised enough capital through its preferred stock program to acquire 104 Bitcoin over nine consecutive days, bringing its total holdings to over 23,000 BTC. The SATA mechanism (Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock) has funded these purchases without diluting common shareholders or taking on debt, with a variable annual dividend of approximately 13% paid daily since June 2026. Between August 24 and August 28, 2026, the company completed its largest acquisition to date: 1,800 BTC funded by approximately $80.3 million in SATA proceeds. This strategy sets Strive apart with a clean balance sheet and no corporate debt, unlike other Bitcoin treasury companies that have used convertible notes and term loans. The risk runs both ways: a sustained Bitcoin downturn would leave Strive holding a depreciating asset while still owing 13% annually to preferred shareholders.
