U.S. stock futures hovered near the flatline Monday evening after the major averages started the new week lower, weighed down by U.S.-Iran tensions and inflation concerns that pushed Treasury yields higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 each lost 0.5%, while the Nasdaq pulled back by 0.3%. Oil prices surged more than 2% amid uncertainty over a U.S.-Iran ceasefire that expired Monday, with negotiations stalling and President Donald Trump warning he would attack Oman if it got in the way. The 30-year Treasury bond yield climbed to its highest level since June 2007.
