Robinhood stock tokens go live on Morpho as collateral for stablecoin loans

Share

Since October 22, 2026, holders of Robinhood stock tokens can deposit them as collateral on Morpho to borrow USDG stablecoins on Robinhood Chain. The markets are isolated and configured by curators, with liquidation thresholds of 62.5% for NVDA and SPCX and 77% for SPY. The service is restricted to non-US persons and jurisdictions because of regulatory constraints, while the tokens provide neither voting rights nor direct ownership of the underlying shares. Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026, recorded about $15 billion in cumulative stock token trading volume and counted nearly 200,000 holders by October 12. The integration lets traders obtain liquidity without selling their positions, but sharp price declines can trigger liquidations and create new opportunities for third-party developers.
