Robinhood’s crypto trading volume reached $17.5 billion in August, up 61% from July but down 38% from the same month last year. The Robinhood app handled $7.4 billion of that volume while Bitstamp, the exchange acquired in 2025, contributed $10.1 billion. Event contracts, the platform’s prediction market bets, traded 4.7 billion times in August, roughly 15 times the volume from a year earlier. This growth pushed event contract revenue to $156 million in Q2, overtaking crypto as a source of transaction income. Total platform assets reached $384 billion, up 26% year over year.
