Newcastle United have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Belgian forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo for approximately €60 million plus add-ons. The deal, concluded on August 31, the final day of the English transfer window, comes two years after the player arrived at Lille for just €10 million. Fernandez-Pardo, 22 years old, will undergo a medical before signing a five-year contract at St James’ Park. He made 41 appearances last season with Lille, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists.
