MEXC and Hacken have published the MEXC × Hacken AI Trading Safety Handbook, which offers practical guidance for using and deploying AI-assisted and automated trading tools more safely. The handbook follows MEXC’s 2026 AI Trading Report, which found that 71.8% of respondents would be willing to use automated trading when limits on funds, positions, leverage and losses were introduced, up from 55% without such conditions. It recommends checking AI-facilitated actions through separate permissions, financial limits and risk controls before execution. The handbook sets out five checks for users — Ask, Verify, Limit, Control and Review — and five principles for platforms — Guard, Limit, Approve, Controls and Test. MEXC and Hacken aim to provide an industry reference for supporting the growing integration of AI into trading while maintaining transparency, oversight and risk management.
