Ethereum developers postponed the Glamsterdam upgrade initially scheduled for the Hoodi testnet on October 26, without setting a new activation date. The Ethereum Foundation said the decision followed further investigation into interactions between EIP-8037 and mainnet smart contracts. The postponement also cancels the planned increase of Hoodi’s gas limit to 200 million for that testnet epoch, while operators are being asked to follow updated execution and consensus-client releases. No action is required from Ethereum mainnet users, and no direct market or blockchain activity impact has been established.
