Bitget announced on September 30 that it had restored its Protection Fund above $300 million after absorbing the financial impact of the September 24 security breach. The fund covered approximately $388 million of the incident’s impact, while customer balances remained accurate and unaffected. The exchange fulfilled its September 28 pledge to restore the fund to at least $300 million within a week, completing the replenishment two days ahead of schedule. USDT withdrawals are now open on four networks (Ethereum, BSC, Solana, and Tron), with remaining crypto, fiat, and peer-to-peer services targeted for October 2.
