Bitcoin is up roughly 2 percent for the week and 23 percent for the month, but remains down approximately 28 percent over the past year and 37 percent below the $126,000 high it set last October. Daily trading volume sits near $22 billion, up about 13 percent from the prior session, with the $82,000 resistance level still not cleared.
