Bitcoin’s 50-day exponential moving average has crossed above its 200-day EMA, forming a golden cross pattern for the first time since November 2025. This technical signal coincides with $3.8 billion in net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs over three weeks, the strongest stretch of 2026, including nearly $987 million in a single week. Bitcoin is currently trading between $79,000 and $80,000. Historically, the twelve golden crosses recorded since 2012 delivered an average 24.9% gain over three months, with the last three producing gains of 50%, 45%, and 60% respectively. If history repeats, the price could target $99,000 to $100,000 by year-end, though only three of the twelve golden crosses held their bullish thesis for a full twelve months.
