The authors of EIP-7782 have withdrawn their proposal to burn Ethereum staking rewards from the Hegotá process. They now plan to run a separate process focused specifically on issuance policy. Lido is among the entities that have offered to help revive the discussions. Objections had been raised regarding validator economics and the way the change was being considered.
