AMD to outperform despite post-earnings slide, analysts say

Share

AMD reported record quarterly revenue of $11.5 billion in Q2 2026, a 50% year-over-year increase, with non-GAAP EPS of $1.66 beating consensus estimates. Despite the strong results, shares fell 5% to 9% in after-hours trading. The Data Center segment generated $6.7 billion in revenue, up 107% year-over-year, and now accounts for 58% of total revenue. Wall Street analysts, including Wedbush, view the pullback as a buying opportunity and maintain their outperform ratings. CEO Lisa Su projected that Data Center sales will double by 2027 and that server revenue will grow more than 80% annually in the second half of 2026.
