The US Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network ordered US financial institutions to stop processing transfers involving MEXC Global. The Treasury alleges that the exchange facilitated at least $16 billion in transactions linked to sanctions evasion, cybercrime, and other illicit activity.
