ICE backs US perpetual futures market built on Hyperliquid infrastructure

Share

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has reached a strategic agreement with Trade[XYZ] to establish a regulated US market for perpetual futures. ICE would be the venue’s exclusive operator and would also hold an undisclosed minority stake in Trade[XYZ]. The platform would use Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 deployment mechanism and offer retail traders around-the-clock leveraged trading through regulated futures commission merchants. Trade[XYZ] has generated more than $650 billion in trading volume on HIP-3 markets in just over a year, while Hyperliquid’s HYPE token rose by roughly 13% to 15% following the announcement. Launch still requires Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval, no date has been set and the participating brokers have not been named.
