A fake job interview helped attackers steal $6.3 billion from Binance. The hackers infiltrated the exchange for several months using tactics that other cryptocurrency companies had warned about before the breach. On November 3, Binance revealed that the October 29 attack began with the separate compromise of two engineers’ computers. The first incident occurred after they were infiltrated through the fake job interview.
