Elon Musk’s Tesla and SpaceX Block Their Stock From OKX-ICE Tokenized Venue

Share

Tesla and SpaceX are among six new companies that have objected to their shares being traded on OKXICE TSV, according to the venue’s Nov. 2 notice. Amazon, Netflix, Lam Research and SoFi Technologies joined them, bringing the total number of objecting companies to 56, up from nine on Oct. 15. A written objection within 30 days prevents the venue from listing a third-party tokenized version of a stock, although the venue may still list shares tokenized directly by the issuer. OKXICE TSV, a joint venture between Intercontinental Exchange and OKX’s U.S. holding company, plans to offer tokenized U.S. stocks 24/7 through Uniswap v4 pools on the XLayer blockchain, paired with stablecoins such as USDC.
