Cardano recorded $217,710 in liquidations of long positions, compared with $15,020 for short positions, resulting in an imbalance of 1,449%. ADA fell 1.29% in 24 hours to $0.19 and lost 8% over the past week after reaching a low of $0.182 on October 30. The decline occurred in a crypto market weakened by the October 29 Binance hack, which compromised $6.3 billion in digital assets and was attributed by the FBI to North Korea’s TraderTraitor group. Binance said it had recovered around 95% of the stolen funds, while the Cardano ecosystem experienced no direct theft of ADA or NIGHT. Meanwhile, Cardano released Node 11.2 as a pre-release, advancing preparations for the Dijkstra hard fork, with a version 11.3 incorporating Leios expected in three to four weeks.
