Aero leads tokenized stock DEX trading as weekly volume hits $2.7 billion

Tokenized stocks generated $2.7 billion in decentralized exchange volume over the past seven days. Aero, created through the merger of Aerodrome and Velodrome, captured 28.3% of that total and leads the rapidly expanding market. The growth followed Coinbase’s August 24, 2026 launch of tokenized stocks on Base, which allow investors to trade around the clock, including on weekends. Over the 30 days ending around November 3, 2026, Aero handled approximately $2.5 billion in trades, while the broader category recorded $12.4 billion in DEX volume. The market is becoming more competitive, although liquidity on decentralized exchanges can remain thinner during off-hours than on traditional stock exchanges.
