Polygon has expanded its Open Money Stack payment infrastructure to Solana, allowing eligible foreign businesses to use US banking rails without establishing a US entity. Businesses can receive funds through bank transfers, cards, cash or cryptocurrency, convert them into stablecoins and process payouts through the same channels while holding assets in Solana wallets. The integration gives Polygon access to a stablecoin ecosystem worth more than $15 billion, the third largest behind Ethereum and TRON, where stablecoin transfer volume exceeded $5 trillion in 2026. The service builds on Polygon’s routing between Solana and more than 20 Ethereum-compatible networks, launched in August, but remains in early access and subject to identity checks, compliance requirements and geographic restrictions.
