Noble USDC Holders Face New Migration Phase as CCTP Limits Start Winding Down

Share

Circle is gradually reducing CCTP V1 burn limits from October 31, ahead of the general suspension of legacy contracts on December 1. Noble follows a separate schedule: new USDC minting was due to stop on October 13, and the remaining contract and CCTP routes will be paused on January 12, 2027, without support for V2. Integrators and holders need to distinguish the deadlines because USDC may remain transferable on Noble even when some exit routes become unavailable. Circle plans to snapshot remaining Noble balances at the January pause and begin a manual redemption process the following day, subject to eligibility and compliance requirements. Protocol operators must therefore update their contracts and APIs, track pending transfers through completion and confirm that each receiving service supports the relevant network and token form.
