On June 22, 2026, Nvidia unveiled Halos for Robotics at the Automate conference in Chicago, a full-stack safety platform designed for autonomous machines operating alongside humans in warehouses and factories. It combines functional safety hardware (IGX Thor, Holoscan Sensor Bridge), software layers (Halos Core, Halos OS, an open-source safety blueprint), and an ANAB-accredited inspection lab working with TUV Rheinland and UL Solutions. Agility Robotics is the first partner, integrating Halos OS into its Digit humanoid robot for deployments at Amazon, GXO, Schaeffler, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Originally launched in March 2025 for autonomous vehicles, Halos now extends to mobile robots and humanoids. Barclays estimates humanoid robot revenue could reach $200 billion by 2035.
