NatWest Group is reportedly scaling back its activities in US and European government bond markets, according to Bloomberg. The bank has not publicly confirmed this move. As of June 30, 2026, NatWest Markets held primary liquidity securities totaling approximately £79.5 billion, mostly in government and SSA bonds.
