Share

OKX and ICE have created the joint venture OKXICE and filed with the SEC to launch a Tokenized Securities Venue (TSV) covering 63 stocks listed on the NYSE. The platform aims to enable 24-hour trading on blockchain with real shareholder rights including dividends, voting rights and claims. The framework relies on the SEC’s innovation exemption, which gives issuers 30 calendar days to object. Tokenized volumes are capped at 0.25 percent of average daily volume in the first tier and 2.5 percent in the second tier. No launch date has been announced to date.
