Zcash advocacy group registers its first lobbyist in Washington

Pretty Good Policy for Zcash (PGPZ) has registered its first lobbyist in Washington. Divij Pandya, the group’s executive director, was named in a filing submitted during the week of October 4, 2026. PGPZ is seeking a 750,000-dollar grant from Zcash Community Grants to cover its first year of operations. The group advocates for financial privacy, digital asset market structure including the CLARITY Act, developer protections, AML rules, and sanctions. This initiative represents a significant step for the Zcash ecosystem, which will now have a dedicated voice in US legislative discussions.
