Anthony Scotto III, 30, left his job at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, to join the family business. Pelato, a Brooklyn-style Italian restaurant founded in Nashville, grew from one location to three cities and now employs 300 people. The company expects to serve approximately 450,000 guests this year and has committed to opening two more restaurants in 2027. The business reached break-even in its third month, with revenue at the original Nashville location increasing 76% in its second year and another 34% the following year.
