Nu Holdings, the Brazilian digital bank, entered the U.S. market earlier this month. Goldman Sachs maintains a buy rating on the stock with a $23 price target, implying approximately 69% upside from Wednesday’s closing price. The bank estimates that Nu could generate roughly $500 million in additional earnings for every 2 percentage point gain in U.S. market share, where the addressable consumer lending market reaches $1.5 trillion, seven times that of Brazil. Out of 18 analysts covering the stock, 15 recommend buying it. Shares have declined nearly 19% year-to-date in 2026.
