Six months later, on September 21, 2026, this same whale repurchased 8,492.8 ETH for a nearly identical amount of 23.73 million dollars, but at an average price of 2,794 dollars, which is 38% more expensive. This timing error cost approximately 3,060 ETH, representing a shortfall of about 8 million dollars at the current price of 2,750 dollars. Despite this loss, this whale still holds approximately 16,773 ETH, valued at nearly 46 million dollars for an initial investment of 12,000 dollars.
