Ethena has officially launched Ethena Pay, a self-custodial money app dubbed « the internet money neobank ». The application offers a 6% dollar savings rate, 5% card cashback and free transfers across roughly 50 countries. It also provides euro, yen and Brazilian real accounts, along with a virtual Visa card accepted at over 130 million merchants. The platform is not available to US persons and is not a bank, with wallet keys remaining under user control. The ENA token rose 8.6% on launch day, while USDe’s circulating supply stands at approximately $4.2 billion.
