Bitcoin peaked above $81,000 for the first time since May before dropping roughly $3,000 from that local high. Despite the pullback, BTC remains up more than 22% on the week with a market cap of $1.575 trillion. Ripple’s XRP was rejected at $1.50 and fell 4.5% in a single day, while altcoins like DOGE, ADA, and XLM lost around 5%. The total crypto market cap shed approximately $60 billion to stand at $2.740 trillion.
