Pi Network will update its pricing model for creating and editing applications on August 24. Until now, the project charged 0.25 PI to create an app and 0.25 PI to edit one, while covering the difference with the actual costs of underlying AI services. The new system will more closely reflect actual AI costs, but apps demonstrating real utility from distinct users will retain the subsidized rate. The native PI token was rejected at the $0.09 level twice and currently sits 4-5% below it. Its market cap remains below $1 billion, ranking it as the 69th-largest cryptocurrency.
