The U.S. government has already flagged WorldClaw as a national security concern because the platform provides access to 43 AI models developed by Chinese companies, including DeepSeek, Baidu, Alibaba, and Moonshot. Several of these Chinese companies appear on U.S. restriction lists, with Z.ai notably listed on the Commerce Department’s Entity List. While no legal violation has been identified, this collaboration raises questions about political coherence and potential conflicts of interest, as the Trump administration encourages American companies to compete with China in the AI sector.
