Jensen Huang says this is the greatest time in history to start a business—and his advice is to stop overthinking it: ‘How hard can it be?’

More than thirty years after its founding at a Denny’s, Nvidia is now worth approximately $4.7 trillion thanks to explosive demand for its AI chips. CEO Jensen Huang, who still works seven days a week while constantly fearing his company could go under, told Y Combinator that this is the ideal time to start a business and said he is « jealous » of the opportunities ahead for young founders. He urges them not to be paralyzed by anxiety and to approach every challenge with one simple question: « How hard can it be? » Statistics confirm the entrepreneurial appetite: 3.23 million business applications were filed in the first half of 2026 in the United States, a 12.1% year-over-year increase, but nearly half of all businesses fail within five years.
