The XRP Ledger recorded 25,700 active accounts on October 21, about 12% more in a single day, compared with a 30-day average of 18,600. Only 4,500 new accounts were created, suggesting that most of the increase came from existing users reactivating their wallets. Transactions rose 55.9% to 3.5 million, successful transactions increased 67.8% to 2.9 million, and fees burned reached 747.6 XRP. However, payments fell 4.4% to 741,900, their volume dropped 49.6% to 350.9 million XRP, and the separate active-user measure declined 50% to 85,200. XRP traded around $1.33, below resistance between $1.37 and $1.40 and above support near $1.25, with no price response yet to the network’s increased activity.
