MSCI finalized new rules targeting companies classified as “non-operating,” which could exclude Strategy from major indexes and trigger estimated passive outflows of $2.8 billion according to JPMorgan. Riley at $195. Michael Saylor, co-founder and former CEO of Strategy, dismissed the decision’s impact, calling it “not that important” to the company. MSTR shares nonetheless fell from over $151 to under $137 on Friday. Strategy remains the world’s largest corporate bitcoin holder with 848,250 BTC.
