UsePaid, a crypto service that converts token creator fees into dollar payments sent directly to X accounts, has temporarily suspended payouts through X Money. The suspension follows a massive spike in activity driven by Pump.fun token launches, which forced the protocol to introduce emergency restrictions before pausing entirely. Approximately $1.54 million in fees were claimed during a single 24-hour period, roughly 26 times the amount recorded during the preceding day and exceeding the total from the entire previous week combined. The project is preparing a web-based claims portal as an interim solution while existing balances remain safe and fees continue to accrue. UsePaid acts as a bridge between crypto creator fees and conventional dollar payments, routing 80% of claims to designated X recipients and using the remaining 20% to purchase and burn the protocol’s Solana-based PAID token.
