The US State Department is offering a $10 million reward for information leading to the identification of Iranian hackers linked to the groups Handala and Parsian Afzar Rayan Borna. These groups are suspected of ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security. Handala has claimed responsibility for cyber intrusions against American entities, including the FBI. The announcement follows FBI operations that disrupted some of these networks. The Rewards for Justice program, active since 1984, has paid out over $250 million in rewards since its inception.
