Uniswap’s price doubled since August 14, rising from $3.16 to $6.38 before stabilizing around $5.73. Robinhood Chain, launched on Arbitrum in July, now generates two-thirds of Uniswap’s revenue, having processed $17.99 billion in August, up 26% from the previous month. On this chain, Uniswap collected $78.73 million in trading fees over 30 days, 60 times the $1.32 million share paid to Arbitrum, and 66% of its total earnings across 47 chains. The protocol charges higher fees on Robinhood Chain (0.465% versus 0.214% globally), particularly in tiers reserved for tokenized stocks whose volume share rose from under 0.1% to 4.1%. Only 7.9% of the $119.3 million in total fees reaches UNI holders through the burn mechanism, but the volume increase on Robinhood Chain grows this total, mechanically amplifying the redistributed amount.
