Two anonymous Bitcoin miners each found a block on October 26 and 27, 2026, using FutureBit Apollo Solo and CKPool Solo, respectively. The rewards totaled approximately 3.154 BTC and 3.14 BTC, worth about $253,000 to $255,000 each, with no mining pool taking a share. Since 2016, 132 blocks attributed to solo miners have been recorded, representing 969 BTC in rewards, while only 22 were found in the 12 months leading up to January 2026. These successes remain rare, averaging one solo block every 14 to 16 days, and did not meaningfully affect Bitcoin’s price or hashrate dynamics.
