The New York Stock Exchange has added Broadridge Financial Solutions, Computershare, Equiniti and Superstate to its planned tokenized securities platform, joining Securitize and tZERO. These transfer agents, which already manage shareholder registers for nearly 5,000 listed companies, will provide the legal and operational infrastructure needed for on-chain voting. Broadridge will develop smart contracts linking tokenized securities to shareholder meetings, voting rules and verifiable results, allowing votes through a compatible wallet, a broker or the ProxyVote platform. Subject to regulatory approval, the platform will combine the Pillar matching engine with blockchain-based post-trade systems to support 24/7 trading, instant settlement and stablecoin funding, while preserving the same dividends and voting rights as traditional shares.
