Target reported a second consecutive quarter of comparable sales growth, up 3.8% in the second quarter. The retailer benefited from a 994 million dollar tariff refund following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling against Trump’s import taxes. Digital comparable sales surged 8.7%, while comparable store sales rose 2.7%. The company upgraded its annual outlook, now expecting 5% sales growth and earnings per share between 9.90 and 10.90 dollars, compared to the 8.52 dollars analysts had forecast.
