SpaceX is targeting September 22, 2026 for Starship’s orbital flight, aiming to place the vehicle in low Earth orbit at approximately 275 km altitude, completing six orbits in about 10 hours before a controlled splashdown in the Pacific Ocean west of Chile. This mission, called Flight 14, also carries 26 Starlink V3 satellites, marking the program’s first commercial payload after 13 suborbital test flights. It requires FAA approval to proceed.
