S&P Global has developed a risk assessment system for DeFi lending vaults called the Vault Risk Assessment. This system assigns a rating ranging from AAA(v) to D(v) to decentralized finance lending vaults. The curator managing a vault can set a cap on this result. S&P Global has not yet assessed any vault using this system.
