Stripe plans to expand its stablecoin card program to more than 100 countries by the end of 2026, up from 18 countries when it launched with Visa in March 2026. The expansion relies on Bridge, acquired for $1.1 billion in 2024, and Privy, bought in 2025, which form the technical backbone of the program. Stablecoin card spending reached approximately $1.2 billion in September 2026, roughly three times the level from the previous year. The broader digital dollar market now exceeds $300 billion. Crypto exchange Kraken and corporate spend platform Ramp are among the existing users of the program.
