Long-time member Mazrael revealed that there are 366 tokens on Ethereum alone bearing the TREAT ticker, creating a significant confusion risk for investors. The official TREAT token for the Shiba Inu ecosystem exists on Ethereum and Shibarium, while an older distinct TREAT token dating back to January 13, 2023, is not affiliated with the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The warning urges users to always verify the contract address and never identify a token by its ticker alone.
