The Solana Foundation confirmed that Samsung Wallet’s stablecoin account has been available since November 2 for eligible US Galaxy smartphone owners. Users can buy, hold, send, and receive USDC on Solana directly within the app without installing a separate cryptocurrency wallet. Transfers can be made to other Samsung Wallet users and compatible external wallets, while bank payouts are offered in more than 60 countries, subject to applicable corridors and fees. The figure of approximately 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the United States represents maximum potential access rather than active users; eligibility also excludes New York residents at launch.
