Samsung Wallet will enable USDC transfers via the Solana blockchain on 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the United States starting late October. Users will no longer need a dedicated crypto application or private keys to transfer stablecoins, as funds are held by Coinbase Prime Vault. The service will also include bank transfers to accounts in over 60 countries with local currency conversion. Of the 73.85 billion USDC in circulation, 6.9 billion resides on Solana, while over $5.25 trillion in stablecoin transfers have flowed through the network since January. Samsung ultimately plans to enable stablecoin payments in stores and online.
