Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay will support the USDC stablecoin on the Solana blockchain, enabling U.S. users to send digital dollars across borders starting in the last week of October. This feature will be available on 82 million Galaxy devices in the United States, with built-in conversion mechanisms to and from local currency. The South Korean tech giant Samsung announced its intention to add native stablecoin support to its digital wallet at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London last July. The Solana network processed more than $5.25 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026, with stablecoin supply on Solana increasing nearly 20% year over year.
