Gas fees on Robinhood Chain surged 82-fold over 11 days, pushing the two-month-old network to collect more in gas fees than any other blockchain over 24 hours. On September 2, users paid $4.45 million in gas fees, up from just $54,254 on August 22, according to DefiLlama. Gas per transaction rose from under one cent to about 32 cents, while gas consumed per second tripled to 36.9 million. Gas fees now represent 23.3% of all fees collected on the chain, compared to 2.5% on August 22. Robinhood retained $4.01 million of those fees after Ethereum data costs and the 10% fee share owed under the Arbitrum Expansion Program license, with 8% going to the Arbitrum DAO treasury.
