The deal, announced on October 13, 2026, primarily targets Moondream’s inference optimization software, including its automatic megakernel generation tools for NVIDIA GPUs. Founded in January 2024, Prime Intellect reached an annualized revenue run rate exceeding $100 million by July 2026, when it also closed a $130 million Series A round. Moondream, with fewer than 10 employees and $4.5 million previously raised, will help reduce computing costs for running open models, with a focus on robotics and AI agent markets.
